It was a 15mins walk from Sutera Inn to Tawau bus station, with the help of a map from Sutera Inn.
A bus ticket to Semporna costs RM10 per person (adult or child) and the duration is about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Along the journey, I spotted many kinds of birds perched along the electrical wires. That made me think of why do birds perch on wires and not afraid of being electrocuted?
It rained cats and dogs when we arrived Semporna bus station. While trying to look for a cab, we saw most of the shops are manned by Pakistanis. Later on, we found out that most Pakistanis married local women and settled down doing business at Semporna.
Dad was approached by a man who offered a ride to Dragon Inn, which is just around the corner for a RM5 fee. Our driver, Asmadi (tel -014 860 7675) told us that there are only 3-4 taxis in Semporna and the rest are 'kereta sapu' (private car which ferry passengers for a fee). I managed to take a photo of the red 'kereta sapu' before it was driven away.
