Pillow fight !! 

It was another overnight trip I planned along with kids, for them and their homeschooling friends. It is always rewarding seeing them having great time with some friends on a trip. It reminded me of  my "rombongan sekolah" (schoop trip) during the secondary school. The difference is, all the parents tagged along a homeschool trip ! :)

Aman Dusun, Hulu Langat Selangor 27 September 2014

Turning off from Jalan Hulu Langat into the metal bridge that led us to the gravel narrow road to Aman Dusun. 

We rented "Riverview" that has a swimming pool. I love this home so much, so much.  

The spacious verandah with a long dining table. Besides the table is a salted swimming pool. A bathroom is located ceonveniently next to the pool.  A small cozy living room greeted us as we stepped in. After the living room area is the kitchen area. 

The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensil and also a fridge with complimentary goat milk, juices, tea bags and chocolocates! We brought ingredients to barbeque and make "steamboat". Both the barbeque pit and "steamboat" pot are available.   

There is a bathroom just next to this common bedroom.

There is wide river nearby, just a stone throw across the house.

Complimentary breakfast - roti canai and curry, and  banana fritter.

There is a goat pen where you can visit and watch the milking process.

Bamboo Village, Kampung Sg. Hulu Langat, Selangor 12 October 2013

The owner, En Ramadhan greeted us at the entrance of Bamboo Village. The kids and I instantly felt at ease with the quiet and green surrounding. 

"Eagle Nest", our choice of accommodation is located furthest from the entrance at the far right corner.  It is only RM 120 per night for the 4 of us.

Thin mattresses and blanket on the floor. There is a fan as well. 

I like the simplicity and kids have no complaint as well.

En climbed out from the window and onto the plank. There she sat, under the roof, in deep thoughts.

At 6 pm, the flock of hens and rooster will roost in the trees above. From our window, we saw how one by one, the chickens flown up to the horizontal stick that is tied between the two trees. From the stick, they flown up to the trees above. 

 I was awoke by the sound of En running down from our bedroom early morning in darkness. I wasn't sure why she was awoke that early. She came back later, excitedly exclaimed that she witnessed all the chickens flown down from the tree.  

Some hens slept on top of the plants. 

I saw a tiny yellow snake slithered on the roof in the day and thereafter found a molted skin!
