Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar Recycling Centre, Hulu Langat 23 August 2011

It was a great pleasure meeting Dr. Eadon Ching, who exudes a highly calm demeanour. This is the trait I have yet to grasp and how I wish I could just absorb it all from him.

You can donate - wearable clothes, shoes, bags, toys, newspapers, magazines, plastic, glass, aluminum cans, electrical items, usable furnitures. There is also pick up service for bulky items.

Great, I found another trustable option where I can drop my collection of recycleable items, besides Tzu Chi.

Turtle Management Centre, Kg Padang Kemunting, Melaka 20 August 2011

The walk from Ismah Beach Resort to Turtle Management Centre. Both are situated next to each other.

We were here with MNS, to watch turtle lays eggs. The lay-eggs season is from April to September.

Hatchery which is just next to the beach. Lovely.

Spotted the hole !

The entrance to the centre.

A small gallery inside the centre.

A talk was given by the MNS and WWF staffs.

Tools for measuring the hatchlings before releasing them.

Released hatchling at the beach. We were told to form two lines on the beach, perpendicular to the sea. The hatchlings were released by the MNS guides. The torch light was shone to guide the hatchling to the sea.

At about 1115pm, a hawksbill, the only turtle species in Melaka was spotted laying eggs on the beach front of the centre.

Pantai Padang Kemunting, Pengkalan Balak, Melaka 20 August 2011

Wide beaches.

It's not white soft sand but it's clean and quiet.

Sea water is like in the last stretch of PD beaches.

Dad digged the sand for making a fire.

It drizzled and the ground sheet was put to good use.

Cooking. Noodles with eggs, sweet potatoes, corn and asparagus.

Asparagus marinated with olive oil only.

I found this organic instant noodles from BMS organic shop.

With a beach in front of Ismah Resort, we were not interested in the pool at all.
