It is our first time watching the acrobat outdoor. The hot and humid weather didn't dampen En's enthusiasm.

Check the crowd. The best place to watch is from the air-conditioned restaurant upstair with a cup of vietnamese lotus tea (refillable) hmmm..

I simply love this performance, so much so that I wish to watch it one more time. The musical is so beautiful with a touch of chinese culture wedding.

I hope to catch this group of dancers and finally, I saw them today at One Utama Mall. We have been watching these superb dancers for years on Chinese New Year and Christmas.

These two are twins. :)

Sunday afternoon.

Today 's acrobat performance caught us off-guard. It was not the usual acrobat troupe from China which we usually watch each chinese new year, but by two elderly local performers. Both are as strong as an ox. !!

I always admire those who play traditional musical instrument. They are providing continuity to this traditional instruments.

Kwong Ngai Acrobatic Lion Dance 22 January 2011

EnHui were looking forward to the lion dance performance. They love to watch the performers at work, setting up the poles.

En managed to catch two oranges and passed one to a little girl who stood nearby. Hui caught one orange too. The lion cheekily nibbled on her hand when she handed over a 'red packet'. :)))

Lots of performances at the malls in conjuction with Chinese New Year. These two performances are shown at One Utama Mall. Check out the schedules if you are at the mall.

Shaolin Wushu 16 February 2010

Tuesday 2pm.
We watched a spectacular wushu - kungfu performance at One Utama New Wing. The dance and wushu acts were simply stunning!

          Each master showed kungfu with different weaponry.

"Peacock dance" The dancers' moves greatly resembled a bird!

Shaolin physical exercises that prevent diseases and prolong life!!!

I can't remember a single act, so don't ask me. :)

One master hit the arm of another with a thick rod.

 A master pressed his neck against a lance!

Kungfu fight resembled snake, monkey and praying mantis! an eye catcher!

The Best dancers that we have watched!

To all the performers! Bravo! Bravo! We were in awe while leaving the stage. A MUST see!

After that, we went 'pai nian' at Bukit Jalil! The cozy home of endless play for EnHui.
