We took the airport taxi from Kota Kinabalu airport to X-plorer Backpacker, Jalan Gaya, our hostel accommodation at the town.
It costs RM 30.
There is a 50% surcharge if you travel between 1150 pm to 6 am.
Taking the airport bus is slightly cheaper but we missed the last bus which was at 720 pm.
