Upon leaving Kandy for Nuwara Eliya, we were brought to the botanical garden. I was skeptical at first, thinking Singapore has a better botanical garden. And I was so wrong.
Peradeniya botanical garden is such a beauty with great lawn, flower garden, over 200 species of palm, a lake etc.
We chanced upon a wedding photography shoot.

Botanical gardens. My only regret was that we did not allocate longer time for this. I wish we could. We even saw a few humming birds among some of the flowering plants. My wife would say, she can allocate 2 days and it would not be enough for me. I love the place. All the plants there, that I saw, were growing healthily.
