Ferry, BlueWater, Mersing Jetty Port to Tioman Island, Johore 20 August 2012

Direction to Mersing Jetty - Exit Ayer Itam/Kluang (244)at North South Highway.  After toll, turn right at T-junction. It is about 100km from here. Go straight, heading to Jalan Mersing. Go straight at two roundabouts. Till you reach a T-junction and turn left. Go straight (Jalan Abu Bakar) at roundabout (very near to jetty). Straight till you see Mersing Jetty on your left.  
It is approximately 5 hours drive from KL. 3 hours drive from Singapore.
For Parking - At Mersing Jetty, take the right turn and again the right turn into parking area. We paid RM18 for a 3days parking.

There is a row of ferry operators at the jetty to choose from.
RM70 adult return. RM60 child return. 

Do call to check the schedule beforehand as it varies daily according to sea condition and season.

Ferry operators on the left side and ahead is the entrance to the ferry. 
You need to arrive 30minutes before the departure time. Exchange your ferry ticket with boarding pass at the counter at the end of the row of ferry operators.

We saw this sign and so we paid for the conservation charges.
RM5 per adult. RM2 per child.

We booked a 11am ferry over the phone but found out that the ferry has changed its time to 12pm when we arrived. Our ferry delayed for another hour and arrived at 1pm. 
Toilet is located on the left side, behind the row of seats of the ferry terminal. 

There are few stops at Tioman Island. Do check which stop you alight.
Kg. Salang is the last stop. We arrived Salang at almost 4pm!
The stops listed on the BlueWater Express's map are Kg Genting, Kg Paya, Tekek, Kg Air Batang, Panuba Bay and lastly Kg Salang.
