Sushi Making workshop at Sushi King, Selangor 16 May 2012

Sushi ingredients and souvenir bags on the table.

This is our second time joining the Sushi King workshop. The price is still the same, RM25 per kid including a bento lunch.
I came simply because the venue was near and the kids can spend some fun time with their friends.
Being homeschooled, the kids are often bombarded with questions/threats/comments that they won't have friends and they will turn out weirdos.
Again, I like to assure you, the kids have friends, though not in hundreds but they have few good ones.

Workshop contents.

I had a tea break "me" time while the kids had their friend time at the workshop.

Sounds like a great activity -- fun and productive, even for adults. People will always have prejudices to express about homeschooling and only children. But there are scores of children who attend regular national schools who have very few friends or who are socially inept or have friends only of the same race or faith group. It's really about one's upbringing and parental influence. If a parent is considerate, thoughtful and has many friends from different ethnic and social backgrounds, chances are, the children will, too.

Hi CovertOpetation78,

Thank you for your comment. I am so touched by your words. Thank you very much. I will work hard as a role model for the children!
