Entrance of the Japan Embassy.
Get your IC ready. Having a pen would be convenient. Get a form, fill in and hand over your IC for a security tag. Then enter the door on the left. You will go through a bag screening. Mobile phone and camera will be kept by security officer and returned when you exit, through the turnstile on the right hand side (see photo)
After the security screening, walk towards your right side to the entrance in front of you. Press for a queue number and wait for you turn.
There is no parking available. Park on the left or right along Persiaran Stonor.
The visa application is free of charge.

Hi Shahnon. When r u going to japan & which part of Japan?
Hello Mimi
We came back from Tokyo already.
hello, ng shannon..tQ for the good info's..
but i still have a few question to ask..
1. if i go for holiday and transit,in website i can see they show:-
7. (Copy of marriage certificate (spouse) or birth certificate (children) to show proof of relationship between the main applicant and the person(s) accompanying)
so if i go alone? do i still have to wrote a letter or this thing can be skip?
Hello Arif,
Do you mean you are on transit in Japan? If you are on transit, and Japan is not your final destination, I think you don't need a visa.
Do you mean you go alone to Japan? If so, I think there is no need to produce marriage certificate. If you meant going alone to Japan Embassy and travelling to Japan with your spouse, then No. 7 is a must.
Do call the number on the website. The staffs I encountered are friendly and helpful. Good luck!
Thankx for important details.. online Transit visa application for Sri Lanka
