Bus to National Bako Park, Kg Bako, Sarawak 9 February 2012

The red colour bus that goes to National Bako Park passes by Brooke Terrace, Jalan Abell.

Pay as you board the bus. The fee is RM3.50 per adult. Children gets to ride on it free.

The route of the bus. It begins at Kubah Ria.

It takes about 30mins from the first station at Kubah Ria, to Jalan Abell. 

That means, if the bus departs from Kubah Ria at 7am, tentatively it will arrive Jalan Abell at 730am.

Bako National Park is the final destination. 

We took the 12pm bus from Jalan Abell and it took about 45 minutes to Kampung Bako.

Kabuki : The Masseur and The Thief 11 March 2012

This three part event by Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur, where we were shown Kabuki makeup techniques and donning on Kabuki elaborate costumes. This was followed by a dance excerpt and ended with a 40 minutes theater production. It was an eye opener and a great follow-up trip after our first exposure to Kabuki Kimonos Exhibition at Isetan, KLCC.

Little (not so little) Hui couldn't help but ran around the huge compound.

While most of my field trips were initiated by my older child, this trip was solely from this little person.

It all started when she questioned me on How God is created, How did He appear, Where is He, Who is the first baby on earth etc.

Speaker located on each and every pillar, so the Iman could be heard from the outside of the praying hall.

Shareef showed and explained how a Muslim performs prayer.

The prayer hall is fully furnished with beautifully designed carpet.

Sewage Treatment Plant, Indah Water Konsortium Putrajaya 28 February 2012

It began with a lengthy and informative briefing by Mr. Mujib.

Go down the steps to ground floor.

Tour began here at the sump pump, where we could hear gushing sewage sound come rushing in from the whole town of Putrajaya.

Here, we were told how the sump pump works. We went down the spiral staircase next to it to have a closer look at the pipes.

From the sump pump, sewage water will be filtered off paper, hairs, condoms etc through the screen chamber.
