Come to my roti canai stall ! 17 October 2010
I paid a visit to En's roti canai stall. To my suprise, the tables (only 2) were occupied. I was politely ushered to a 'waiting room' (Photo on the left - two blue cushions). The owner, a 6 year old girl told me " I am sorry. You could read some magazines while waiting". Service rating : SIA service 10/10. :)

I love to watch how En helped aunty S in distributing the cake and giving to each and everyone before having her own piece of cake. Another good thing about En, she accepts people wholeheartedly, without any prejudice.

Esplanade Tanjung Api, Kuantan 16 October 2010
We came here just to kill some time before dinner. A breezy esplanade where the river meets the sea. En carried my face towel and her notebook along. She found a spot, 'shoo' Hui away (who curiously checking what her sister was up to), laid the towel and drew. Hui & Max, I didn't know what they talked about, looking at the man mining the sand. 
En said "The best part of the day is, I drove a car on a real road". Dad and I chuckled upon hearing that. The road at the park indeed look like real with pedestrian walking, roundabout and road signages. RM4 for 2 rounds and a bunch of satisfied kids. *This place is located at a park nearby.

I read how great Hai Peng coffee is and finally, aunty See Ming brought us here. I didn't try the coffee as I m not a fan of black strong coffee. Overall, the food is great and I'll surely come back again.
From memory, after the Trengganu state arch, go straight, follow Kuala Trengganu sign. You need to make a right turn, following KT signage. After the right turn, look out for Hai Peng on your right.
See Ming and Sharidz claimed that this satar stall (left) is much better than the previous ones that they have tasted. And me, I came back for more before leaving for KL. It's very heavenly tasty. I want to eat it again.

Fishing Village @ Beserah 16 October 2010

After reading some write up on Chit Lip Salted Fish Processing Centre and water buffalo at Beserah Beach, we decided to check it out.
Packing of salted fishes at Chit Lip. From this guy, we learnt that the water buffalo has ceased to exist. It has been replaced with lorry more than a year ago. Right- shark fins and some bones cartilage.
Left- Our outing gang. Right- The old uncle chose to remain silent while doing his work. He won't answer to any of our queries.
En darted to the sea the moment she saw it. She is completely in love with the sea and sand.
We founds a lot of dead crabs. Left- a horsecrab shell.
Head to Jalan Beserah. Turn left before the Mobil station. Go straight. Beserah Fishing Village is right after the bridge. Batik Factory @ Balok, Pahang 16 October 2010
Saturday 3pm
The Natural Batik Village claimed to be the largest batik factory in east coast. It is opened for visitors. Just walked in, if it's less than 20 people and make an appointment if you have more than that.
Direction : From cherating heading to Kuantan (trunk road), turn left when you see Balok. Go straight reach T-junction. Take the right turn, following Pantai Balok. Go straight till you see Natural Batik Village on your left.
Left -The merchandise outlet greeted us at the entrance. Walk toward the right side of the outlet will lead you to the factory at the back.
Left- block printing of wax area. Right- a pot of batik wax. This pot of wax caught fire when we were there. I was beginning to worry when the flame got bigger. Dad grabbed the wet towel from the worker and threw it over, *gush* the fire was put out.
Varieties pattern of copper block
Left- Dye bath area. Right- The wax is applied over the penciled outline of the pattern with a canting.
Fresh air, trees, sand & sea @Ruby Resort, Cherating 15 October 2010

" I AM HOME! " this is how I feel each time I step foot at Ruby's Resort. Waking up by the sound of the cock crow and opening the door to trees, fresh cooling air, greeted by geese, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats .. ooh .. kids feeding the animals.. walk to the beach. It's simply marvellous.
Watching sunrise while playing sand but it was cloudy, En said. Right- She is "Harmon Isa", whom En met at the resort. They click the moment they met. Lovely.
Braving the rough waves. Right- Pet Stout and Princess, Ruby's dogs. En is braver this time around.
She prefer cats more.
Crystal House at Sg Lembing 15 October 2010

Direction - From Sg Lembing museum, go straight. When there is a fork road, take the left one.
It is opened by a former miner, Mr. Lee at his own home. He charges a mere RM2 for adult and RM1 for child. It is such an educational visit on mining related information. Mr Lee will share his 23 years work experience unselfishly. Just ask him questions.
Left- Which one is tin? Right- Some of the crystal being displayed.
Left- a replica of a tin mining tunnels, dug by Mr Lee which took 4-5 months. Right - Mr. Lee, who wasn't wearing a shirt, which he claimed related to his mining job where the temperature was fiery hot.
Left- Another replica - which took him a year to make. Right-a tool to drill a hole for dynamite insertion.
Sg Lembing Museum 15 October 2010

The entrance is free. From the direction of the "Welcome Sg Lembing" arch (at the entrance of the town) , drive straight till you see museum on your left.
Give at least an hour to do justice for this museum. It shows the mining history of Sg Lembing. Nevertheless, the heat is terrible, so wear light clothing.
En was captivated by the wagon (left), as for me, I admire this photo (right)
Left- Replica of tin mining tunnel. Right- The actual tin mining site which is located at the left turn on the road next to the musuem. It has been closed by a fence over a year ago. It is deemed unsafe because it has been abandoned for a long time and have been submerged in the water.
