"Freedom to live and to think about life for its own sake is important and even essential to a child. Since we can't know what knowledge will be most needed in the future, it is senseless to try to teach it in advance. Instead, we should try to turn out people who love learning so much and learn so well that they will be able to learn whatever needs to be learned." -John Holt.

Easel 5 March 2010
Friday afternoon
En's self made easel for little Hui. The cake cups are for paints. A piece of cardboard on top is to cover the cake cups if paints drips from the art block. There are 2 paper cups that used to store felt tip pens have fallen down!
is funny and amazing how kids think. i m constantly intrigue by it. if only adults, like me, are smart enough to be patient with children and let them blossom, i think kids' potential knows no bound.
