Grand Lexis Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan 24 January 2015

Seeing me beaten up and overstretched, trying to be a superparent, a kind and caring soul booked me a relaxing holiday at Grand Lexis.
I was indeed running on emtpy and slept like a baby when I was there.

"A private pool in the room! "  Kids laughed heartily.

There is a transparent glass panel on the floor that kids sticked their face on for God knows how long. "Low tide, hide tide"

Titi Eco Farm, Titi, Jelebu Negeri Sembilan 30 August 2014

We love it here, Titi Eco Farm.This chalet type has serene mountainous view. 

Here, I can really rest and recharge. I don't have to think of food for the family. When the bell rings, it signal that the food is ready. I can just wake up from my nap or drop my book to eat.   

The children roam around the spacious farm freely.

I learnt many more ways to eat well and heal naturally from the farm tour and a health talk given by

the humble farm owner.

I was given this baby Aloe Vera to plant at home. It now grows happily in my garden 

It is our first time eating a hibiscus !  And  I leanrt to include flower into our diet.

 Eat all sort of colour and taste. Different colour is good for different part of our organ.

7 types of herb that are great to consume for various reasons.

I was also taught to grow yeast to make bread. The bread is cooked by steaming, instead of baking in the oven.

My kids fed the rabbits with vegetables harvested by them.

Thistle Hotel, Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan December 2013

My family and I were given 4 times free, full board, 3 days 2 nights stay at Thistle Port Dickson Resort as En joined "Kids In Charge" project as a board member. 

The hotel staffs whom I came across during the stay are truly fantastic, from the manager John, to the waitresses, waiters, housekeepers, front desk supervisor and also the porter.

The hotel also has a wide range of activities for children. The huge pool with slides is the main attraction and it comes with a free ice cream by the pool bar. There is also a children playground adjacent to the pool.  

Here are some other activities:

Movie schedule is pasted on the movie room entrance. The room is filled with bean bag seats and a huge screen. A video games room is next to it. 

Get a balloon shaped to your choice during check in/check out time. 

Games for both individual and family.

Flying fox!!!! RM 15 per person is not too expensive.

 Ping pong, play tennis in an outdoor tennis court  or volleyball by the beach are available.

A free sand art station is next to a toddler playroom with ball park and playhouse. 

Chess and Snake & Ladder game on the lawn.

Croquet.

You will never have time to be bored here. 

Beach is clean. 

Wade the low tide pool. 

Take the jet ski, boat or kayak for free. 

Thistle Hotel, Port Dickson 12 March 2010

Friday 3pm.

After the raptor watch @Tanjung Tuan, we put up at Thistle Hotel for a night @ RM270(exclude tax), which includes 4 glasses of welcome drinks, seaview room and FOC sumptuos breakfast for 4!

Left- Entrance at lobby @2nd floor. Right- EnHui drinking welcome drink. We gulped down the plum juice - so thirsty after 3/4 day at Tanjung Tuan!

Left- Outside lift, along the corridor. Right- First thing EnHui did, jumped on beds!

Left- Balcony of seaview room, coconut trees, pool, sea, mountains & sunset.

Right - Bathtub and detachable shower head.

Toiletries - toothbrush, cottonbuds, shower cap, lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner

2 bottles of complimentary water.

TV - with some astro channels & radio channels.

Left- entrance & wardrobe. Bathrobe and bedroom slippers provided.

Right- working table. Internet charges is RM57 for 24 hours! So, no connection for a night :(

Thistle Hotel previously was Guoman Hotel. I gave it a thumbs-up!
