Winter Solstice 23 December 2009

Wednesday afternoon.
EnHui had fun making "tang yuan" with po po. It was just like an edible playdough! And they did pop it into their mouth while shaping the dough.
                     En with a satisfied look on the round "tang yuan"

                               
          Po Po guided En to add the brown rock sugar into the sweet broth


EnHui just dropped the "tang yuan" into the sweet broth with pandan and ginger.

"Tang Yuan" sank to the bottom.
 EnHui saw each "tang yuan" rose its way up when it's cooked. 
En asked "why do we eat "tang yuan" today?"
