Friday 2pm
We came here not knowing what the craft workshop was all about and were all thrilled seeing the paper cardboard house ! It was another free Christmas activity organised by One Utama mall.
Awesome, isn't it? The roof can be opened by lifting the rope and bottle caps as stilt.
The walls came pre cut. (1) Wet the cardboard with water. (2) Let water sink in for a minute and peel, leaving the stripey part exposed. (3) Appy glue on the interior wall and stick with color paper.
Hui attentively did each part without asking me for help.
Kids were asked to write their names on the cardboard for easy identification.
En sticked the bottle caps together with masking tape.
The final part of joining all the walls with hot glue, was done by two teachers for 20 kids!
En's and her cottage.
that's hui's. Her roof was partly decorated by dried leaves.
