I have no idea what time it was and I heard " WAKE UP mommy, WAKE UP. see sunrise" I opened one eye, caught a glimpse of them looking out of the window, beaming with joy, catching the sunrise, from our home! The night before they made a pact with dad to watch sunrise in the morning. Dad had to set alarm to wake up. My reply was "NO thanks I have seen it before" and went back to sleep. "Freedom to live and to think about life for its own sake is important and even essential to a child. Since we can't know what knowledge will be most needed in the future, it is senseless to try to teach it in advance. Instead, we should try to turn out people who love learning so much and learn so well that they will be able to learn whatever needs to be learned." -John Holt.

It was an arrangement with En. Then when both of us woke up, Hui followed suit with screaming of sunrise sunrise at 645am. Is a heart warming scene, to see such excitement in them immediately after they open their eyes, on something that we let pass everyday.
