Istana Negara Museum, Jalan Istana, KL 22 May 2012

This is the view from the back of the Istana.

We parked at the front of Istana's entrance, registered ourselves and walked in.

Most areas are closed for visitors and we could only peeped in.

What we saw when we peeped in through the glass door pane.

I think it is very similar to the interior of some huge houses at Bukit Jalil.

Footwear has to be removed.

The kids were excited to step into the palace.

It was a well spent one hour here, reading and admiring the exhibits.

The throne in front of us.

The World Sceptre.

The royal orchestra's instruments.

This video shows how each instrument is played.

The kids were trying to remember the king's name.

The long and short keris.

Garden's view from the toilet.

Interactive screen which provides brief information.
The kids love this one.

The kids have been singing "Negaraku" in Bahasa Malaysia and were thrilled to read the English version.
I was told to capture it for them.

Free admission from April 16 to June 15, 2012.
