Catch an ice cube with a thread 28 April 2010

Wednesday pm.


Sprinkle some salt along the thread. Wait for 30sec and lift the thread. The area where salt lands triggers melting, which cools the ice as a whole. The cooling areas without salt causes any water present to freeze, trapping the thread. Water Science, Water Fun: Great Things to Do With H2O. This experiment caught Hui's attention but not En. And that's okay.
